In the framework of the project  «Preparatiry for Network of Ethnocentres as Marketing Objective» since 01st of November 2018 till 31st of May 2019 Karelika conducted  research work on studying tourist potential of the Ethno-cultural Center of the Republic of Karelia for the purpose of clarification terms and preconditions for ethno-cultural tourism development.

Under present-day conditions when ethnic goods turn to be popular all over the world, ethnographic tourism for Karelia may happen to be the matter for activity providing not only protect traditional culture but also contribute to its transfer to rising generation. An interest to traditional culture and language facilitates the image raise and prestige of this culture and language. Peculiarity of ethnographic tour-product lies in the matter that its realization requires efforts of different members of ethnic community, from old men – curriers and keepers of traditions to young people received education and committed to use their knowledge for benefiting their land.
